Hi, I’m Kinjal Bhatt, a finance professional turned mompreneur, often found juggling office calls with little ones running around in the background. If you’ve ever felt frustrated about eating “healthy” and still feeling bloated, tired, or just off, I’ve been there too.

A few years ago, I was dealing with a chronic health condition that just wouldn’t budge. Exhausted and discouraged, I turned to more natural methods to find relief. That’s when I met a holistic Ayurvedic practitioner who gently reminded me of something I’d forgotten:

“Let food be your medicine.”

She suggested I try going gluten-free, and I gave it an honest shot. Three months in, I realized it just wasn’t sustainable for my lifestyle as a working mom. That experience, however, sparked something in me: a deep curiosity to learn more about what was actually making me feel sick. Through endless hours of reading Ayurvedic texts and nutrition science, one thing became clear: gluten wasn’t the villain, the glyphosate and modern processing methods were. I finally found that preservative and additive-loaded foods inflame the gut lining and then eventually lead to chronic conditions.

About Us

In conversations with friends and fellow moms, I began to notice a pattern: so many were struggling with gut inflammation, fatigue, or feeling heavy after meals. And they were frustrated with the lack of options that were truly clean and nourishing. So, I began sharing the flour I was milling for my family with others. The response was overwhelming and humbling.

That’s how Freshly Milled was born.

Today, my mission is simple: to extend the same wholesome, healing, gut-friendly flours from my kitchen to yours. Imagine a world where the bread you eat—roti, paratha, thepla, even sourdough—actually nourishes you. Where you feel energized after a meal, not drained. Where eating feels good again.

That’s the world I’m trying to create, one bag of flour at a time.

From my family to yours,

Welcome to Freshly Milled.

With warmth,

Kinjal
